When did you start working at Advantek, and what is your role?
In 2022. I have a varied background—technical education combined with experience in completely different fields like customer relations. Over time, I studied Project Management and transitioned from customer contracts and relations into a technical project management position. I work in the marine sector, and ensure that all systems are delivered on time, coordinate customer contacts, and manage various aspects of the projects. Being able to be yourself and have fun at work is the most important thing to me-and what I appreciate most about Advantek. I love the fun and social activities we do together.
What do you work on in your current assignments?
I currently work as a Project Manager in Marine, where I coordinate the delivery of Nitrogen Generators which is placed on ships; Chemical Tankers, Dual Fuel Ship, Cruise Ships etc. Our product is the N2 Generator where our specialty is the membrane that separate the Nitrogen, but we also deliver the whole system to produce and store the Nitrogen. The most challenging aspect of working as a project manager is managing many projects simultaneously. It’s crucial to keep everything well-organized and under control to prevent any delays.
How do you like spending your time off?
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, cooking good food. And I try to attend concerts and Stand-up when they pop-up in my hometown. I love the cultural life in Kristiansand and try to support it as much as I can.
Can you name something you can’t live without?
Honestly, I think I can live without most things. But I do need good friends and family in my life.
