Short about your professional background
I graduated with a master’s degree in engineering, specializing in Design and Product Development, in 2021, and I’ve been working as a consultant since then. I have worked within the logistics sector. At my last assignment, I became the team leader for Advantek’s development team. Recently, I also became a group manager at Advantek.
For how long have you been working at Advantek?
Almost three years.
What is your role now?
My current role is as group manager for a group of consultants, team leader for Advanteks product development team at one of our customers, and as a design engineer.
Describe your current assignment
As a team leader, I oversee the teams’ work commitments and help balance and prioritize workloads. Our team is involved in product maintenance work as well as development projects where I also do some engineering work. I am currently in the later stage of a development project, working to improve the batteries for the customers pallet trucks. In this project I do mechanical design as well as prototype testing and evaluation.
Favorite place to travel?
Japan. I’ve only been once, but it’s been my best travel experience by far. I hope to go back many times and hopefully soon. The food, nature, the aesthetics and the culture really are special.
What do you like to do in your spare-time?
I like to exercise a lot. I am currently training for Stockholm marathon so running takes up a lot of my time now. I also like mountain biking and hiking in the summer. When I’m not outdoors I like to read news, watch quiz shows or play computer games.
Best memory with Advantek?
When we moved from our first small office to a much bigger one. The first office was at an office hotel so it was fun to move to something that we could call our own and make our own. This was also a period of quick growth, so I got to meet many new people who are now my colleagues.
